"Amy Butterfield has been working with Bridgewater for three years as a club provider for her popular lunchtime dance club ‘Street Kicks’. During that time, I have seen first-hand how passionate and dedicated she is. Amy works with a diverse group of children, from 6 years of age all the way up to age 11. I feel that she has a good understanding of each child’s needs and characteristics and is able to inspire them to give their best, while also helping them to overcome any anxiety or confidence issues. She has worked with underprivileged children, offering free places in her clubs and through her creative dance club, she has used movement to improve their wellbeing and to help them manage their emotions. Her excellent communication skills and organisation mean the club is incredibly well run, making it very easy for us to host here at school. She has set up a booking form that the parents use to sign up, has established well attended termly ‘Watch Weeks’ to engage the parents and is extremely professional. She has a great rapore with both parents and children, taking notice of individual children who might be struggling, regularly feeding back to the school."
